SRM NIGHTINGALE MAT.HR.SEC.SCHOOL
celebrated its 47th Annual day on 24th July 2015 at
Krishna gana sabha, T.Nagar, Chennai. The function was presided by the Chief
guest Mr.R.Nataraj, Former Director General of Police, Tamilnadu and guest of honour Pulavar M.Ramalingam.

The function started at 4.00 pm
with the welcome dance by the dance club students followed by Japanese fan
dance by the tiny tots on the theme “ one world one earth”. The evening was
made more colourful with cultural programmes after the principal’s annual
report . Important activities of the school were displayed through TV.
Mr.R.Nataraj,
specified the importance of identifying
unique skill in every child and develop them as per the talent they
possess. Pulavar Ramalingam stressed the role of parents and teachers in the
individual development through his humorous talk. Audience spell bound with the
way pulavar delivered his thought.
Top
scorers of X and XII board examination and centum scorers in each subject were
awarded with books, certificates and medals. Teachers were also awarded for
their exemplary service.
Students
gave their performances with grace and got a big round of applause which
included the dance of India and mime on Women empowerment.
Programme
ended with Vote of thanks and National anthem.
